OMBA Alumni Leadership Council Applications

The OMBA Alumni Leadership Council is now accepting applications for new members to join our board. There are currently six (6) open seats available and we are actively seeking applications from members of the alumni community to serve on the OMBA Alumni Leadership Council.

The Alumni Leadership Council will be composed of twelve (12) OMBA alumni who will provide overarching support to the OMBA program for alumni relations & programming. The OMBA Alumni Leadership Council will play a crucial role in continuing to foster strong connections between their networks of OMBA peers and the Questrom Online MBA Program.

Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

Meeting with OMBA Staff regularly to discuss and plan programming initiatives & events.
Serve as a sounding board for the alumni community & be the voice to communicate with OMBA staff for effective communication and planning.
Actively and regularly engage in OMBA alumni initiatives
Provide support to the OMBA staff in marketing & communications specifically catered to the Alumni community
Other projects and support as OMBA programming develops

Council members should expect to be in regular contact with each other and OMBA Staff. Communication is vital to the success of the Alumni Leadership Council and a key factor in continuing to develop and strengthen the initiative alongside all other alumni programming within the Online MBA Program at Questrom. Members of the OMBA Alumni Leadership Council should plan for at least one (1) synchronous meeting every semester, including summer term, to maintain an open line of communication.

The deadline for submitting your membership application will be February 15, 2026 at 11:59pm ET.

If we receive an overwhelming interest for the open positions on the council, we will investigate the potential for creating subcommittees that will work on specific projects alongside the OMBA Alumni Leadership Council. Please indicate if you would be interested in serving as a member of a subcommittee if seats on the council become unavailable.

Applicants must have earned their diploma by the deadline to be considered for the council (January 2026 graduates or earlier). Council members do not need to be located in the Boston-area.

Final decisions will be provided to candidates following the council’s meeting on March 12, 2026.
