OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS – Students can order official transcripts by visiting the MyBU Portal (https://student.bu.edu/MyBU/s/) > Navigating to the “My Academics” tab available at the top of the webpage > and clicking on the “Request Transcripts” box in the main content of the webpage. When will I get my diploma?
All diplomas at Boston University are mailed via certified mail by the university’s third party vendor. You will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number when your diploma has shipped. Diplomas will not be mailed early. Click here to learn more about diploma mailing from the central University’s Office of the Registrar. Please be advised you will not receive your diploma if you have a financial hold on your student record.

Can I get an electronic copy of my diploma?
Yes, Boston University offers the opportunity for graduates to access an electronic diploma, also known as a CeCredential. You will receive an email with a link to download the CeCredential when it is ready from Boston University’s trusted partner, CeCredential Trust. Click here to read more about the CeCredential. 

How do I know what address my Diploma will be mailed to?

In the MyBU Student Portal, students should access the Student Dashboard > My Profile > Contact Info. There will be a field for addresses, with the option to add and edit a specific option for diplomas.

*Please note your Student Success Team is not involved in the diploma mailing process. Any questions should be directed to diploma@bu.edu 

Blackboard – Alumni will retain full access to course materials available on Blackboard for five (5) years after taking their specific course.* We welcome and encourage students to save materials from Blackboard to their computer’s hard drive that they would like to have permanent access to. Please be advised that some resources (course videos, lectures, etc.) are ineligible for download as those materials are copyrighted intellectual property of Boston University.

*Please be advised alumni will only be able to access Blackboard using the direct link – learn.bu.edu. Alumni do not retain access to OMBA Link due to Salesforce licensing agreements and will be unable to log in to the platform to navigate to Blackboard from there. 

OMBA Link – Alumni will not retain access to OMBA Link. Alumni do not retain access to OMBA Link due to Salesforce licensing agreements and will be unable to log in to the platform approximately 30 days after graduation.

Resources & Event Recordings – OMBA Alumni can visit this webpage for access to resources such as resume and cover letter guides and templates, as well as tools and resources for career-related ventures, and Success Team event recordings to revisit topics of interest. Please note: this page is password protected to ensure access is restricted to members of the OMBA Alumni Community only. BU Connects – A platform designed exclusively for BU faculty, staff, students, and alumni – BU Connects brings terriers together for professional networking on a global scale. Members of the community will have access to a directory that can be filtered by industry and/or location, affinity groups, mentoring opportunities, and even job boards for those looking for new roles. Click here to join BU Connects.

Handshake – BU’s on-line hub for career resources used by all Questrom students to make/manage appointments, view job and internship postings, workshops, and more. BU Email – All Boston University students will automatically have on-going access to their BU email hosted through Google Accounts. Students have the option to set up a forwarding service to send new incoming messages to your preferred external account. For more information and instructions to configure the forwarding services, please click here.

BU Google Drive – Please be advised that vendor-imposed storage limits on BU Google Accounts does require the university to permanently delete any files stored in Google Drive for users who have left the university, this includes alumni. Please take the time to download/save any files you wish to retain access to from your BU Google Drive – your access to BU Google Drive will be disabled within 90 days of your graduation date. 

BU Zoom – Alumni will retain access to their BU Zoom account, but please note that it will be limited to the basic/free license. Meetings will be restricted to 40 minutes in length and cannot be recorded after graduation

BU Libraries – BU Libraries welcomes all graduates to visit the libraries and make use of a selection of electronic resources using their BU username and password. Alumni will not have access to all resources available to current students due to vendor licensing agreements, but will continue to have access to select features within the university library system.
